About The Position

We are seeking a trustworthy, hungry, hands-on, and technically inclined Project Manager with experience in high-end residential AV, lighting, shading, and control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience on construction sites, a strong understanding of the built environment, and familiarity with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final). You will be the primary point of contact for clients, internal staff, other trades, GCs, architects, and reps, responsible for understanding and delivering the scope of work, managing project timelines and scheduling, ensuring project profitability by keeping hours within budget, and issuing work orders. Quality control to ensure all work meets expectations and the ability to read, interpret, and mark-up plan sets/blueprints are crucial. This role requires situational awareness on construction sites and the ability to create, submit, and manage change orders.

Requirements

  • Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV or Residential Electrical.
  • Knowledge of the built environment.
  • Experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final).
  • A steady work history (3 years between hops).
  • High EQ.
  • Ability to read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints.
  • Ability to create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment for, and execute change orders.

  • PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, in-house staff, other trades, GC, architect, and reps.
  • Understand, deliver, and troubleshoot the scope of work as needed.
  • Manage project timeline and scheduling, including planning and proactive alignment to resources.
  • Ensure project profitability by keeping actual hours at or below budgeted hours, and removing redundancy and errors.
  • Issue work orders to the team and coordinate with third parties.
  • Ensure all work meets the scope of work, plans, company standards, and client expectations.
  • Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the team.
  • Create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment for, and execute change orders.
  • Work on construction sites with situational awareness.
