About The Position

SOLUS is seeking a hands-on Project Manager with experience in construction sites, specifically in AV/LV or Residential Electrical. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, curious, and prefers field work over desk work. This role involves being the primary point of contact for clients, internal staff, trades, GCs, architects, and reps, managing project scope, timelines, profitability, work orders, and quality control. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, creating change orders, and ensuring all work meets standards. The projects are high-end residential lighting and shading installations in the Salt Lake City, Park City, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV or Residential Electrical.
Knowledge of the built environment.
Experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final).
A steady work history (3 years between job changes).
High Emotional Quotient (EQ).
Ability to work on construction sites with situational awareness.

Nice To Haves

PMP certification is a plus.
Experience with Lutron Lighting Control (RA3/QSX) and Motorized Shades.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, in-house staff, other trades, GC, architect, and rep.
Understand, deliver, and troubleshoot the scope of work as needed.
Manage project timeline and scheduling, ensuring planning, proactivity, and alignment with resources.
Ensure project profitability by keeping actual hours at or below budgeted hours, and removing redundancy and errors.
Issue work orders to the team and coordinate with third parties.
Ensure quality control, verifying that all work meets the scope of work, plans, company standards, and client expectations.
Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the team.
Create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment for, and execute change orders.
