About The Position
Metal Toad is a strategic AI partner that helps customers leverage AI for future growth. They are an AWS, Anthropic, and OpenAI partner with a diverse team of consultants, engineers, designers, project managers, and marketers. Metal Toad is a fully remote company, but is seeking contractors residing in Brazil for this Project Manager position. Compensation will be in Reais (R$), and they cannot sponsor visas. As a Project Manager, you will guide customers through successful implementation journeys from initiation to closure, ensuring projects stay on track, on time, and within budget. You will build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, unblock developers, identify risks, and chart paths to success. The role requires a goal-oriented individual with a belief in continuous improvement.

- 3+ years of experience in project management or other applicable roles.
- Direct work experience in the digital realm and knowledge of development project life cycles
- Direct work experience with a variety of software development methodologies and project management tools, i.e., SCRUM/Agile and Kanban.
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Scrum certification (PSM).
Responsibilities
- Ensure project success
- Work closely with an agile development team throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies, including daily sprints, mid-sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Facilitate continuous improvements of the team and its processes using a servant leadership style
- Identify and resolve problems, questions, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions
- Track team velocity, health, and sprint progress, and surface risks to the appropriate stakeholders
- Own budgets, timelines, scope, and risks
- Act as the client’s primary contact on projects and radiate information and transparency
- Provide high levels of client communication and customer service
- Take clear notes on action items and effectively disseminate information and tasks to the team
- Report weekly to the manager on project health (including budgets, schedules, and scope concerns)
- Report weekly/monthly status updates to clients
