About The Position
The Project Manager works with clients to manage building-material installation projects, performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. This is a field-based role in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a company truck provided. The position plans installation work, monitors job-site quality and schedule, coordinates resources, addresses problems and delays, and supports customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, project-management, interpersonal, oral-communication, leadership, quality-management, planning and organizing, and productivity competencies.
Responsibilities
- Plan installation projects and establish priorities and sequences for installed products.
- Visit job sites before, during, and after installations to check quality standards and project schedules.
- Work with clients to ensure satisfaction and communicate recommendations for improvement to the Field Supervisor and/or Installation Manager.
- Review installation orders and schedules to determine the resources needed to complete projects on time.
- Review reports and resolve problems to minimize costs and prevent installation delays.
- Develop or revise standard operating and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Compile, store, and retrieve production data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
