Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Modernization Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple modern installation projects. The Modernization Project Manager will ensure efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet all technical, safety, and regulatory compliance standards, as well as customer expectations. The position requires proactive communication with various stakeholders, including client representatives, general contractors, owners, building managers, architects, designers, and regulatory agencies. The Project Manager will also work closely with internal sales staff, superintendents, and senior leadership to ensure project success from both financial and customer perspectives. Key responsibilities include contract writing and administration, managing billing, processing consultant and contractor payments, handling RFIs, optimizing change orders, and maximizing project cash coverage. The role also involves accurately interpreting construction contractual documents and contract modifications to determine costs of changes and assisting in developing contingencies for estimates.
