This role encompasses three levels: Associate Project Manager (APM), Project Leader, and Project Manager. The APM is accountable for small to routine medium projects in Transmission, Distribution, and Substation, supporting capital and maintenance projects, and may assist Project Leaders and Project Managers. The Project Leader is accountable for medium-sized PPL Electric Utilities transmission and distribution projects, managing them from development through closeout, identifying risks, and integrating information into project plans. The Project Manager is accountable for large PPL Electric Utilities capital projects (Transmission, Distribution, and Substation), overseeing all project management activities throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction, closeout, and turnover to operations. This role requires coordination and influence across various functional leads and subject matter experts, with a focus on goal orientation, action, pragmatism, and self-discipline. Strong skills in project planning, organization, communication, team motivation, and delegation are essential.
