Project Manager - Microsoft Dynamics ERP Implementation (2 Year Project)
About The Position
Lead a high-impact ERP transformation for Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing as it migrates from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 to Dynamics 365 Business Central. Drive the cross-functional implementation from planning through go-live, working with business stakeholders, IT teams, subject matter experts, and implementation partners. This project-based role is expected to support a two-year ERP implementation initiative. Manage day-to-day execution across all project phases, including project planning, governance, risk and vendor management, deployment, and organizational readiness. Coordinate testing, cutover, go-live preparation, and hypercare, while monitoring readiness for resources, training, data migration, integrations, and business sign-offs. The role is based in Detroit, Michigan, with a hybrid schedule of four days per week in the office and one day remote. Occasional travel is required; relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of project management, program management, business transformation, or ERP implementation experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional business and IT initiatives.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing vendors and implementation partners.
- Occasional travel is required.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 to Dynamics 365 Business Central migration for Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing LLC.
- Manage day-to-day project execution across all phases.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, and reporting.
- Coordinate workstreams, stakeholders, subject matter experts, IT resources, and the System Integrator.
- Maintain project governance processes, RAID logs, decision logs, status reporting, and escalation management.
- Coordinate Steering Committee, Core Team, and Process Owner activities.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and vendor performance.
- Coordinate testing cycles, cutover planning, go-live preparation, and hypercare activities.
- Monitor readiness of resources, training, data migration activities, integrations, and business sign-offs.
