Project Manager
About The Position
H.E. Neumann is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The position is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and directing all aspects of assigned projects from inception through completion, with the goals of maximizing profitability and exceeding client expectations. The ideal candidate can successfully initiate, execute, track, and close projects; communicates effectively; and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, prioritization, composure under pressure, customer service, responsiveness, and professional business acumen.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial mechanical construction industry.
- Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining a team-focused mentality.
- Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of mechanical plans and specifications and the design/build industry.
- Analyze projects to determine scope, cost, and scheduling requirements.
- Obtain drawings from general contractors and distribute them to the necessary personnel.
- Obtain permits from general contractors and local jurisdictions.
- Maintain and review RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, change proposals, project schedules, project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Manage cost of goods and material purchasing.
- Prepare and review monthly Estimated Cost at Completion (ECAC) reports.
