About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the successful development of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This is an onsite position in Juno Beach, FL, reporting to the Manager, Engineering & Construction Project Development. You will coordinate with all partners through all phases of project development, from early-stage planning through construction turnover. You will excel in project management, financial analysis, partner coordination, and renewable energy project development while managing multiple projects across various stages of execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within engineering, construction, energy, utilities, infrastructure, or related industries.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects simultaneously from early-stage development through construction readiness.
  • Coordinate teams including Development, Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Environmental, Regulatory, and Construction to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans while identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Collaborate with environmental, permitting, cultural, land acquisition, and interconnection teams to ensure all project requirements are identified and incorporated.
  • Support engineering teams with technical requirements and design development for BESS projects.
  • Partner with estimating teams to develop project financial models, budgets, and cost forecasts.
  • Improve project variables to improve technical performance, constructability, and overall financial feasibility.
  • Use market intelligence and industry data to support project economics and business case development.
  • Support origination and development teams during Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Generator Interconnection Agreement (GIA) negotiations.
  • Coordinate procurement strategies and commercial activities to support project execution.
  • Source and negotiate contracts for geotechnical, survey, engineering, EPC, and construction services.
  • Present project updates, financial analyses, risks, and mitigation plans to business leaders and executive management.
  • Travel as needed to project sites throughout the United States and Canada and support local partner meetings and public hearings.
