About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support its Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) portfolio. This fully remote role provides leadership in developing and executing customer-focused product initiatives and requirements, product lifecycle activities, and growth programs. The Associate Product Manager bridges customers, sales, and engineering by translating market requirements and customer needs into clear product and engineering requirements that support development and business growth. The role works closely with sales, customers, project management, and engineering to support product deployment, technical trainings, customer engagements, and new product introductions. The successful candidate will have strong power systems knowledge, a solid understanding of BESS and related technologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Travel of up to 25% may be required. The expected annual salary range is $97,000–$143,000; actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
At least 5 years of experience in electrical power systems, application engineering, systems engineering, product engineering, or related technical roles.
Strong knowledge of electrical power systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to translate customer requirements into engineering requirements.
Experience supporting customers, channel partners, and sales teams.
Ability to work within a matrix organization and influence without authority.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Work with the Global Product Manager and product line team to achieve profit plan objectives and sales growth.
Lead development of technical product requirements and support new product introduction activities.
Provide input to product roadmaps and support strategic planning.
Support customer-facing technical discussions, product trainings, and internal leadership presentations.
Provide technical expertise for commercial pursuits, including proposals, bids, and customer submittals.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
Develop technical documentation, white papers, application guides, and training materials.
Support product lifecycle management, including portfolio management, documentation management, and product updates.
Collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer requirements into engineering requirements.
Support adjacent product categories, including EVCI, EMS, microgrids, other DER assets, and circuit protection.
Travel up to 25% as required.
