About The Position

Baker Barrios Architects (BBA) is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for a licensed architect or a non-registered graduate with 10+ years of experience in architecture and project management. As a key representative of BBA, the Project Manager will serve as the face of the firm, both internally and externally, ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.

Requirements

• A professional degree in architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in architecture, with a strong background in project management and client relations.
• Experience managing financial performance, scope, and quality control on architectural projects is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• A licensed architect is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial performance of projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and contracts. Maintain awareness of additional service opportunities and oversee sub-consultant management to maximize project profitability.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the course of the project.
• Oversee all project scheduling, scope management, design awareness, and quality control to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
• Coordinate internal and external communication related to the project. Provide regular project updates and reporting to clients, the BBA team, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to the proposal process, including drafting and submitting proposals, and assisting with additional service requests as they arise.
• Represent and project the BBA brand in all aspects of the project, ensuring the design vision is communicated effectively internally and externally.
• Lead and support the project team, ensuring the performance, well-being, and professional development of team members.
