Leads, directs and coordinates the day-to-day management of the project. This role involves leading the development of high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring, ensuring regular feedback and timely performance appraisals. The Project Manager is responsible for managing and developing assigned staff towards maximum job performance and career potential, and for developing and improving client relationships to foster a “trusted advisor” status. This position requires a thorough understanding and administration of Turner's contract and subcontract agreements, providing leadership to positively influence change, and fostering architect, subcontractor, and vendor relations. The role includes establishing, updating, and communicating the Master Project Schedule and managing its implementation, potentially working with the preconstruction team, and managing the budget and financial reporting, including interpreting and analyzing reports to ensure adherence to the project budget. The Project Manager also manages the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program, provides leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions, and ensures compliance with Turner's business ethics and compliance programs. A high standard of personal accountability and integrity is expected, with mentorship of staff to the same high standards. The role involves managing and overseeing field operations and engineering processes and procedures, driving team competencies in insurance, labor relations, and employee relations, and enforcing safety protocols. Collaboration with Finance for the Pay Application process and follow-up for timely payment is required. Management is kept informed of project and budget progress through regular Operations Review Meetings. The Project Manager supports and drives the utilization of Turner initiatives, promotes and utilizes emerging technologies and innovations, and provides leadership to foster an environment of diversity and inclusion.
