We are looking for a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering great work, and knows how to build lasting relationships with clients and trade partners. In our Special Projects division, you will own your projects from start to finish, working across a diverse range of project types at a pace that keeps things interesting. Projects typically range from $100K to $5 million.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction management with relevant Special Projects or tenant improvement project history
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is required
• You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multi-task across multiple active projects simultaneously
• You lead professionals and know how to create a collaborative environment for your project team
• You know how to work with owners, architects, and subcontractors to build long-term relationships.
• You are comfortable with construction software and project management tools

Responsibilities

• Own your projects from preconstruction through closeout, including estimating, budgeting, procurement, and overall financial performance
• Maintain a positive job margin through every phase of the project
• Manage the project team in close collaboration with the Superintendent, keeping projects on or ahead of schedule
• Drive, develop, and cultivate long-term relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors
• Lead project meetings, deliver timely and transparent reporting, and keep all stakeholders informed
• Handle contract compliance, change orders, submittals, subcontracts, insurance, material procurement, logistics, as-builts, and closeout
• Manage subcontractor lists, schedules, and scope coverage throughout the project lifecycle
• Understand conceptual budgeting and work with the team on estimation review and budget management
