About The Position

Bristlecone Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex cloud and application engineering initiatives within its Cloud Development – Delivery department. The role oversees end-to-end project lifecycles, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures timely, high-quality delivery of scalable cloud solutions for enterprise clients across the United States. The Project Manager defines and executes project plans, schedules, and budgets; manages stakeholders, risks, resources, and change processes; and tracks project performance and deliverables. The role also facilitates Agile practices, ensures cloud deployments meet security, governance, and regulatory standards, and mentors junior project staff. The position includes information security responsibilities: adhering to security policies and procedures, participating in information security training, handling information appropriately, and reporting suspected security or policy breaches to the InfoSec team or appropriate authority.

Requirements

At least 5 years of project management experience leading cloud or application engineering projects.
Proven track record delivering large-scale cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform or CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resource constraints effectively.
Solid understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
US citizenship or work authorization for employment in the United States.

PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

Define and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets for cloud engineering initiatives.
Lead cross-functional teams including architects, developers, QA, and operations.
Manage stakeholder communication, expectations, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards in cloud deployments.
Track and report key performance metrics, milestones, and deliverables.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement practices.
Coordinate resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple projects.
Oversee change management and release coordination for cloud applications.
Mentor junior project staff and promote project management best practices.
Understand and adhere to information security policies, guidelines, and procedures to protect organizational data and information systems.
Participate in information security training and handle information appropriately.
Report suspected security or policy breaches to the InfoSec team or appropriate authority (CISO).
Adhere to additional information security responsibilities associated with the assigned job role.
