About The Position
Atwell is hiring a Project Manager for its Civil Engineering group to work on diverse land development projects of varying sizes and complexities. The role involves collaborating with production teams on preliminary and final site plans and construction documents, preparing engineering reports and recommendations, and supporting construction activities. The position also includes guiding junior staff and developing project management capabilities through training and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production teams to assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing preliminary and final site plans and construction documents.
- Guide and assist junior staff, ensuring project tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations, including hydrology and hydraulic studies, project schedules, and storm sewer reports.
- Provide construction-related services and direct junior team members, including work on permit applications and quantity estimates.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments on time and within budget.
- Develop project management skills through training and mentoring.
