About The Position
An expanding Michigan firm is hiring a Land Development Project Manager in Rochester Hills. The role manages civil site development projects and leads a team of engineers and designers. The project manager is responsible for delivering quality projects profitably and on schedule, maintaining client relationships, and supporting business development. The position also includes developing workload forecasts and schedules, participating in industry and community events, mentoring and managing staff, recruiting, conducting project site visits, and attending client meetings. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience with land development projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
- Perform project site visits.
Responsibilities
- Manage civil site development projects.
- Lead a team of engineers and designers.
- Deliver quality projects profitably while meeting deadlines.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Assist with business development and proposal writing.
- Organize and conduct presentations and interviews with new clients.
- Develop workload forecasts and schedules to manage projects within budget and delivery schedules.

- Mentor and train junior staff.
- Recruit new hires and manage and develop the existing team.
- Perform project site visits.
