About The Position

Valeo is a global tech company focused on designing innovative mobility solutions. As a Project Manager, you will lead advanced software and system-level projects from a management perspective. You will serve as the crucial link between technical engineering execution and business strategy, ensuring projects meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness. This role offers high-level visibility and deep technical exposure to industry standards like ASPICE and Functional Safety.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Embedded, or Computer Engineering.
Previous experience in software development, system architecture, or system validation.
Understanding of infrastructure, hardware-software integration, and the complexities of embedded systems.
Proven ability to translate complex technical bottlenecks into clear, actionable status updates for non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to drive consensus and move teams forward without direct hierarchical authority.
A diagnostic mindset capable of resolving both technical hurdles and operational inefficiencies.

Nice To Haves

An interest in or pursuit of a PMP certification is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced SW/System projects.
Act as the primary bridge between System, Software, and System Validation teams to ensure technical alignment and transparency.
Interface with R&D, Finance, Sales, and Industrial teams to align project progress with broader organizational goals.
Maintain and audit project timelines across the portfolio, ensuring milestones are met and proactively flagging risks.
Own the Change Register, driving discussions to ensure all Change Request (CR) details are documented, analyzed for impact, and tracked to completion.
Support and manage workflows involving V-Model, ASPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and Cyber Security requirements.
Apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall frameworks for resource allocation and task scheduling.
Conduct internal audits on project documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
