About The Position

The Project Manager, Construction independently manages moderate to large-scale construction and capital improvement projects, serving as the primary point of contact for owners and clients. This role owns project budgets, schedules, and vendor performance for assigned projects within the market, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Lincoln's quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction and/or tenant improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgets, schedules, and building codes.
  • Proven vendor and contractor management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Function as the primary point of contact for owners, clients, and stakeholders on assigned construction projects.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, providing regular status reporting to clients and leadership.
  • Select and manage architects, engineers, consultants, and general contractors appropriate to project requirements.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, bids, and change orders, ensuring alignment with project budget and objectives.
  • Oversee construction document review, permitting, and the AHJ approval process.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, schedule adherence, and safety compliance.
  • Manage the pay application, invoicing, and project accounting process.
  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues, escalating to leadership as needed.
  • Lead project closeout, including punch lists, commissioning, warranties, and as-built documentation.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
