About The Position

As a Project Manager in Atwell's Civil Engineering group, you will work on residential land development projects of varying sizes and complexities in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You will collaborate with production teams on site and grading plans, utility layouts, and construction documents; guide junior staff; prepare engineering reports and recommendations; and support construction activities. The role also offers training and mentoring to develop Project Manager skills and the opportunity to grow within Atwell's residential land development practice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production teams to draft, review, and finalize preliminary and final site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and construction documents for residential communities and subdivisions.
• Guide and assist junior staff, ensuring project tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations, including hydrology and hydraulic studies, stormwater management reports, project schedules, and utility coordination.
• Provide construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, contractor coordination, and field support.
• Direct junior team members in construction support activities.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments on time and within budget.
• Develop Project Manager skills through training and mentoring and grow within the residential land development practice.
