Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience in an engineering, manufacturing, product development, or technical environment preferred.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to defined objectives.
  • Strong project planning and scheduling skills.
  • Knowledge of project lifecycle management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, computer, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to coordinate resources and collaborate across departments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office as well as project management software and reporting tools such as Asta Powerproject or MS Project.
  • Knowledge of project estimation, budget management, scope management, and vendor management.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk performing extensive computer work.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize project management tools and software to track progress, maintain documentation, and manage project activities.
  • Assists with managing projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution and completion.
  • Coordinate project activities among internal departments, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Drive project execution by working with senior leadership to proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and communicating progress, priorities, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate, organize, and help facilitate project meetings to align teams, track progress, and resolve issues.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, project documentation, status reports, meeting minutes, and project summaries.
  • Monitor project progress and identify at-risk tasks or schedule delays; develop and implement mitigation plans when necessary.
  • Assist with managing project resources and budgets to support successful project execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.
