About The Position

The Nursing Project Manager plans and executes multiple clinical projects to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. This role combines project and change management expertise with a strong clinical background. The Project Manager is assigned high-risk, complex, enterprise, and cross-departmental projects and applies an understanding of clinical workflows while working with leaders in clinical, administrative, and support departments.

The position uses a structured methodology to plan and implement projects and, when required, analyzes organizational systems and processes and recommends operational improvements. It provides support throughout project lifecycles by identifying and tracking milestones and resources, managing risks to timelines and budgets, and regularly informing project stakeholders and sponsors about progress and challenges. This is a grant-funded position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three to five years of varied clinical experience with healthcare management experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and evaluating performance improvement projects.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred, or active pursuit thereof.
• Change management certification preferred, or active pursuit thereof.
