About The Position

The Nursing Project Manager plans and executes multiple clinical projects to support the organization’s strategic objectives. This role combines project management and change management expertise with a strong clinical background. The position is assigned high-risk, complex, enterprise, and cross-departmental projects, applying knowledge of clinical workflows while working with leaders in clinical, administrative, and support departments.

The incumbent uses a structured methodology to plan and implement projects and, when needed, analyzes organizational systems and processes and recommends operational improvements. The role provides support throughout project lifecycles, including identifying and tracking milestones and resources, managing risks to timelines and budgets, and regularly informing project stakeholders and sponsors of progress and challenges. This is a grant-funded, part-time position scheduled for 20 hours, on the day shift, with no weekend needs.

Requirements

• Three to five years of varied clinical experience.
• Healthcare management experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and evaluating performance improvement projects.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
• Change management certification preferred, or active pursuit of a certification.
