About The Position

Propulsion Controls Engineering has an opening for a Ship Repair Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of military or ship repair/marine industry experience; supporting our San Diego, CA location. PCE is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor. The Project Manager will oversee and lead a team in completing projects by a set deadline, schedule and budget. This role involves monitoring project progress, resolving challenges, and communicating obstacles.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
5 plus years’ experience of military/marine or ship repair industry preferred.
Ability to work at a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task with multiple projects.
Ability and tolerance to meet due dates and deadlines and/or time constraints.
Ability to delegate and lead others.
Knowledge of production processes, quality control and costs.
Ability to obtain / maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance.
Eligible to obtain base access clearance, which includes passing a background check and presenting valid government-issued identification.
Acceptable ID must be REAL ID-compliant or an approved form of federal identification, such as a valid U.S. passport.
