About The Position

Kreative AV is seeking a trustworthy, hungry, and hands-on Project Manager with experience in high-end residential AV, lighting, shading, and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the built environment and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final) on construction sites. This role requires a steady work history, a pleasant disposition, and high emotional intelligence. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, in-house staff, other trades, GCs, and architects, responsible for understanding and delivering the scope of work, managing project timelines and profitability, issuing work orders, ensuring quality control, and interpreting plan sets. You will also be responsible for creating and managing change orders and maintaining constant status updates in project management software. The role involves working on construction sites with situational awareness.

Requirements

  • Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV.
  • Knowledge of the built environment.
  • Experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final).
  • A steady work history (3yrs between hops).
  • High EQ.
  • Ability to read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints.
  • Ability to create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment, and execute change orders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Primary Point of Contact for Client, In-House Staff, Other Trades, GC, Architect, and Rep.
  • Understand, deliver, and troubleshoot the scope of work as needed.
  • Manage Project Timeline/Scheduling: Planning, Proactive, Aligned to Resources.
  • Ensure Project Profitability: Keep actual hours at/below budgeted hours, remove redundancy and errors.
  • Issue Work Orders to the team and coordinate with third parties.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure all work meets SOW, Plans, Company Standards, and Client Expectations.
  • Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the team.
  • Create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment, and execute Change Orders.
  • Maintain status updates in Project Management Software at all times.
  • Work on construction sites with situational awareness.
