The Project Manager supervises a team of General Forepersons and their crews, ensuring the proper administration, communication, and enforcement of work practices. This includes policy enforcement, quality and quantity of work production, adherence to safety practices, employee relations, and interpretation of Union Agreements. The role involves working with Human Resources on various employment matters such as hiring, discipline, separations, and leaves of absence. The Project Manager is also responsible for managing daily production tasks, maintaining records and reports, controlling crew costs, and staying informed about new equipment and procedures. They will maintain contact with customers, property owners, the public, other contractors, and government agencies, representing Wright Tree Service professionally. The position requires working around hazardous equipment and energized power lines, in noisy environments with proper PPE, and in various weather conditions and terrains. Other related duties may be assigned.
