As Project Manager of C-TIER, this position will interface with the university as Financial Manager/Designee and with sponsors on all local, state, and federal grants and contracts. This role involves creating, managing, and revising business models, programming models, and budgets for all grants and contracts. The position is responsible for the management of funds and transactions within university systems, including negotiation and communication with sponsors. It requires frequent checks of all relevant accounts, close consultation with the Principal Investigator (PI) regarding spending, revisions, over expenditures, errors, and transfers, and processing of all PI-approved financial transactions. The Project Manager will also work with the PI and university departments to ensure compliance with the use of grant funds, manage temporary staff and student time, utilize procurement and Oracle operations, investigate abnormal transactions, and prepare monthly budget reports. Additionally, the role involves supervising administrative tasks, assisting in budget preparation and grant record management, and reviewing proposal summary forms and related paperwork.
