About The Position

As Project Manager of C-TIER, this position will interface with the university as Financial Manager/Designee and with sponsors on all local, state, and federal grants and contracts. This role involves creating, managing, and revising business models, programming models, and budgets for all grants and contracts. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of funds and transactions within university systems, and for negotiation and communication with local, state, and federal sponsors. Key duties include frequent checks of all accounts related to C-TIER grants or contracts, close consultation with the Principal Investigator regarding all spending, revisions, overexpenditures, errors, and transfers, and processing of all PI-approved financial transactions and spending.

Requirements

  • Experience managing financial aspects of grants and contracts.
  • Proficiency in university financial systems.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial transactions.
  • Experience with financial reporting and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with the university as Financial Manager/Designee and with sponsors on all local, state, and federal grants and contracts.
