About The Position

WeVote has an opening for 1 Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Project Manager, aimed at supporting the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting team. This is a volunteer role, requiring between 5-10 hours of time per week. You will have the opportunity to help lead a team of volunteer Recruiters, Talent Acquisition Specialists, & more. Our ideal volunteer is passionate about politics and excited to use technology to educate voters and increase voter turnout. Therefore, an ideal volunteer Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Project Manager is also passionate about politics and wants to use those skills to guide and support the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Project Manager team at WeVote.

Requirements

• Experienced Talent Acquisition/Recruiting professional with 1+ years of experience OR a recent college graduate who has an interest in a career in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting.
• Desire to work with an established and successful team.
• Commitment to strengthening American Democracy.
• Striving for personal excellence, and wanting to do meaningful work that will make a difference.
• Availability of 5-10 hours per week, with at least 1-2 hours available during business hours.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Currently located in the US.
• Prior experience working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate processes & tasks within the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting team.
• Run Talent Acquisition/Recruiting team meetings 2 times per month.
• Attend our Introduction Webinar 1-2 times per month to capture attendees, support Q&A, and help ensure a great event experience for potential volunteers.
• Track hiring statistics across various teams.
• Support the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting team in answering questions, providing additional task support, and advising.
• Assist with various Talent Acquisition/Recruiting projects and initiatives.
