As a project manager on the Sourcing Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives to optimize our sourcing operations needs. In order to be successful, a strong candidate has experience working cross-functionally to define and mitigate risks, execute a project plan, and communicate with clarity across various teams and stakeholders. Strong project management skills required, and an open and curious mind encouraged. As a project manager, you will… Support highly cross functional initiatives impacting the business by leading the planning, implementation, and monitoring of complex, highly cross-functional projects. Build relationships across the business and enterprise to collaborate and influence the outcomes of complex programs, delivering integrated project approaches. Have a clear ability to move the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and financial competency
  • Experience leading large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects
  • Ability to lead cross functional collaborations with business partners and stakeholders
  • 2+ years - project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources and communications.
  • 3 years - managing large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects.
  • 2+ years - building and mentoring teams.
