About The Position

Shamrock Roofing and Construction, a Top 40 roofing contractor in the United States, is expanding and seeking a Project Manager for Roofing Sales in Des Moines, IA, and the surrounding area. This is a year-round career opportunity for individuals comfortable with D2D sales, where some company leads are provided, but self-generated leads are also expected. The company offers a supportive work environment, leadership opportunities, and a detailed training program for new Project Managers.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old with a valid driver's license
• Self-starting, coachable, disciplined, and goal-oriented
• Reliable transportation (you'll carry a ladder); company trucks may be available to those 21+ with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Own a cell phone
• Comfortable in outside D2D sales
• Able to climb a ladder, walk a roof, and lift 50 lbs without fear of heights
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Project management experience within the construction industry

Responsibilities

• Generate leads through canvassing, referrals, or storm outreach
• Inspect roofs, gutters, and siding, and educate homeowners
• Write and close roofing contracts
• Collect payment
• Manage the project from start to finish
