Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale projects
  • Understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare terminology, and regulatory requirements in Canada (e.g., PHIPA,)
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification required
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership and clinical teams
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers

Nice To Haves

  • Business analysis experience is considered a strong asset, including requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, and translating business needs into clear project deliverables.
  • Agile, or Lean/Six Sigma, are assets

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for key initiatives, including scope definition, planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including operations, clinical, vendors, and third-party consultants
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing competing priorities and ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and compliance standards
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, risk assessments, status reports, and post-implementation reviews
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and communication plans, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Coordinate project logistics including scheduling meetings, tracking follow-ups, and maintaining project artifacts
  • Ensure compliance with PHIPA, privacy regulations, cybersecurity standards, and organizational policies
  • Additional tasks as required
