In a context of digital transformation and continuous innovation, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring strategic and operational information technology projects. Reporting to the IT PMO leadership, the incumbent plays a key role in value creation, accelerating delivery, and driving the adoption of new ways of working. They act as a catalyst between technical, business, and innovation teams, ensuring a balance between rigor and agility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Leadership and ability to mobilize cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or Agile certification (an asset)

Responsibilities

  • Establish a system to track and control project costs, timelines, and resources, tailored to the level of complexity and maturity of the initiatives.
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and create integrated, scalable, and value-driven project plans.
  • Monitor progress on activities and milestones, and provide clear, actionable status reports.
  • Oversee and monitor the time and effort invested by project resources.
  • Document and manage change requests, ensuring alignment with the project’s strategic and technological objectives.
  • Analyze project performance and identify gaps between planned and actual results in order to recommend timely and relevant adjustments.
  • Maintain and update project dashboards, ensuring data quality, reliability, and relevance.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and controlled experimentation.
  • Identify and support opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and methods, particularly through the use of digital solutions, automation, or artificial intelligence.
  • Contribute to initiatives where solutions evolve progressively (e.g., exploratory projects, pilots, proofs of concept, MVPs).
  • Identify technological and organizational risks and propose corrective actions suited to rapidly evolving environments.
  • Adapt project management practices to promote speed of execution, continuous learning, and value creation.
  • Lead and facilitate regular meetings that foster collaboration, alignment, and decision-making.
  • Engage and mobilize cross-functional teams in dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Identify capacity constraints, escalate issues, and propose pragmatic risk mitigation solutions.
  • Act as a key liaison between IT, business, and innovation teams, facilitating communication and shared understanding.
