Project Manager – Plumbing
About The Position
T.A. Woods is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Plumbing to join our team. We’re looking for a skilled project management professional with a strong background in commercial plumbing and construction who can successfully manage projects from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and confident working with clients, general contractors, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors. This position plays a key role in keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with T.A. Woods’ standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous project management experience in commercial construction
- Strong background in commercial plumbing
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, construction processes, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with construction/project management software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial plumbing projects from planning and pre-construction through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate with general contractors, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Review construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements
- Track project progress, costs, materials, and labor
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Identify potential issues and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward
- Communicate project expectations, updates, and changes effectively with all stakeholders
- Work closely with Plumbing Foremen and field teams to ensure efficient project execution
- Ensure work meets project specifications, applicable codes, safety requirements, and quality standards
- Assist with estimating, budgeting, and project planning as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and project partners
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
