About The Position

Village Plumbing Air and Electric has been in business for 80 years and is seeking an experienced service plumber for a project-focused residential service role. The position starts from home, with the employee driving directly to the first customer call. The employee presents repair or replacement options to customers, closes the sale, and passes projects to the installation team before moving on to another call. For repairs that take less than one hour, the employee completes the work. Employees may also refer customers to other Village departments, including HVAC, Electrical, Generators, Insulation, and Sewer/Drain, and earn referral bonuses. A fully stocked company truck is provided. This is a straight-commission position with unlimited earning potential; the posting states that plumbers earn $85,000–$175,000. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for qualified technicians.

Requirements

Hold a valid Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners license: Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master; this is non-negotiable.
Hold a valid driver's license.
Have previous residential plumbing service experience.
Have excellent communication and presentation skills and exceptional attention to detail.
