About The Position

WECTEC Staffing Services, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking a Project Manager - Nuclear-Level 4 for a 1-year contract assignment in Homestead, FL. This role involves managing and leading projects from conception to close-out, aligning with industry best practices, and bringing independent perspectives to the nuclear organization. The project manager will oversee projects that support nuclear goals, varying in resource requirements, functional interaction, direction, scope, and timeframe. Responsibilities include maintaining project momentum, identifying problems and solutions, reporting status, and controlling costs. The position reports to the onsite manager.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years nuclear experience, including 7 years in a leadership role.
Manages high-impact nuclear engineering or construction projects, including plant modifications on safety-related systems.
Experience in P-6, NEO and strong excel skills are desired.
Position will require travel to the other nuclear sites periodically to support outages or planned projects.

Responsibilities

Lead projects to ensure completion by schedule date
Creates plans, cost analysis, schedules, estimations, and reports to communicate project deliverables and status of completion
Coordinates engineering, construction and other functional resources to complete project goals
Lead and coaches schedulers, cost engineers and estimators regarding project significance
Manage all related project controls and systems to support project development tasks
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
