About The Position

ReNuke Services is seeking a Nuclear Project Manager II for our client's site in Huntersville, NC. This role provides project management support for the Automatic Monitoring System (AMS) Online initiative, partnering with the technical lead to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of project objectives. Responsibilities include scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management while coordinating with Nuclear Engineering, Operations, IT, and site organizations. The Project Manager II will lead project management activities for a fleet-wide portfolio of risk-informed applications and modernization initiatives, coordinating multiple workstreams, integrating schedules and funding across organizations, and ensuring alignment with Nuclear business objectives, regulatory commitments, and operational improvement strategies. Additionally, the role serves as the Nuclear project management lead supporting an IT-led Cyber Transformation program, providing coordination between Nuclear organizations and IT to implement cyber security process improvements, training, governance changes, regulatory compliance initiatives, and fleet-wide deployment activities. The initiative includes procedure revisions, workforce training, CDA assessment activities, and implementation of the vTraq platform.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience.
  • Graduation from a four-year college or university.
  • Proficient in project management principles.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 plus years related work experience. In lieu of Bachelor's degree(s) AND 5 plus year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 9 plus year(s) related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters - business (MBA), project management, or equivalent.
  • Utility Technical Certifications/Training
  • PMP or CAPM Certification
  • CMII/Construction Certifications
  • Professional Engineer License.
  • Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls.
  • Experience in utility industry.
  • Knowledge in construction management.
