About The Position

The Project Manager II will champion a "Safety First" culture, define and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of customer orders. This role involves delegating tasks, coordinating cross-functional activities, identifying and mitigating project risks, and serving as the primary point of contact for internal departments, customers, and stakeholders. The Project Manager II will communicate project status, risks, and milestone updates to leadership and executives, and proactively adjust project plans, resources, and timelines as needed. Additionally, this role will drive continuous improvement in project workflows, tools, and processes to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, manufacturing, power distribution, or a related field.
  • Understanding of basic power distribution systems and electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — written, verbal, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency, attention to detail and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times when visiting the production floor (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
  • Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
  • Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.
