The Project Manager II role is responsible for the management of work within a development team. They are responsible for the intake and management of client enhancements, system bugs, and project requests associated with their given team and area of system focus. They are responsible for communicating feasibility, costs and scheduled timelines and potential delays to clients. They are responsible for owning and maintaining client relationships. Requirements

  • Management of work within a development team

  • Communicating feasibility, costs and scheduled timelines and potential delays to clients
  • Owning and maintaining client relationships
  • Basic navigation and troubleshooting skills for the IMS system

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Tech Support on the intake of client requests
  • Communicate feasibility, cost estimates and scheduled timelines to clients.
  • Coordinate between clients and developers to obtain clarity around request or issues, utilizing the most appropriate communication method.
  • Prioritize and schedule tickets for developers to work on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinate between internal staff, as well as third parties, to work together on items that require cross-team coordination.
  • Manage issues and risks that arise.
  • Own client relationships and act as a necessary point of contact and escalation for said clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and scheduled calls to identify priorities, provide updates and discuss issues.
  • Learn basic navigation and troubleshooting skills, specific to development team, for the IMS system.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
