About The Position

The Project Manager II is responsible for leading construction project execution from preconstruction through closeout while overseeing project teams, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, quality, and safety performance. This role serves as a key leader within the project management team, providing operational oversight, driving coordination across stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of projects in alignment with client expectations, contract requirements, and company standards.

Requirements

  • 7–9 years of commercial construction project management experience or equivalent field experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, contracts, and multiple project priorities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing large-scale or multiple simultaneous commercial construction projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall project execution including budget, schedule, quality, safety, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Manage project planning, logistics, scheduling, and field operations to ensure successful delivery.
  • Oversee contracts, purchasing, invoicing, change orders, and subcontractor management.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between clients, design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project objectives.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight to project teams.
  • Maintain strong client and vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety expectations, and project requirements.
