Montefiore Medical Center's Division of Clinical Pathology is responsible for the laboratory testing of blood, urine, and body fluids for disease diagnosis and health maintenance. Utilizing the latest advances in computer technology, the Division maintains millions of dollars of state-of-the-art automated equipment at its laboratory sites and services hospitals, nursing homes, the Montefiore Medical Group, faculty practices, and voluntary physicians' offices at more than 40 sites. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Pathology Operations, the Project Manager I is directly involved in the planning, management, and execution of multiple complex projects within the Clinical and Anatomic Pathology space, and in support Einstein academic programs. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to developing project plans, timelines, and milestones, as well as organizing site or section-based activities in support of projects and other initiatives. The project manager will be involved in operational and system design or redesign and may make recommendations to facilitate programmatic changes. The position will interface with Clinical and Administrative leadership, as well as Faculty and staff in the development, support, strategy, and execution of initiatives to improve and grow the Pathology service line.
