About The Position

The Project Manager/Estimator takes ownership of deep foundation projects from the initial bid through final completion. This role combines estimating and project management: developing competitive bids, planning awarded work, and partnering closely with field operations to execute complex foundation projects. The position manages project costs, schedules, contract requirements, changes, and client relationships while identifying constructability challenges and supporting safe, efficient project delivery. The role is primarily based in an office environment and requires jobsite travel, including occasional travel and overnight stays to jobsites outside the office location area (approximately 10%). The employee may work alone and with others and may encounter variable conditions at jobsites, including moving machinery, odors, dust, pressurized equipment, electrical hazards, loud noise, and changing weather. Hearing protection is provided and required when applicable. The base compensation range is $100,000–$133,500 and may vary by geographic location, applicant skills, and relevant experience. Veit describes itself as a specialty contractor with nearly a century of experience, working in foundations, earthwork, utilities, marine services, industrial cleaning, cured-in-place pipelining, and waste disposal.
