About The Position

Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager, Enterprise Project Management Office in Surrey, BC at our Head Office. As a Project Manager, Enterprise Project Management Office, you'll lead complex, cross-functional projects that support business transformation, operational improvements, and technology initiatives across the organization. Working alongside business leaders, technology teams, and external partners, you'll bring structure, collaboration, and accountability to project delivery while helping achieve strategic business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Bring 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale, cross-functional projects, including SaaS implementations
  • Experience gathering business requirements, documenting scope and objectives, developing project plans, and driving stakeholder alignment
  • Comfortable working in matrix environments with diverse stakeholder groups and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and third-party resources within a SaaS environment
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage executive, technical, and operational audiences
  • Skilled at building collaborative relationships and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Self-directed, adaptable, and committed to delivering quality outcomes

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or certifications such as PMP, Agile, or Change Management are considered assets
  • Previous experience within the insurance industry or business transformation initiatives is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects across business functions including operations, marketing, product, HR, finance, and technology
  • Develop and manage project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, communications, and stakeholder engagement
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, technology resources, and external vendors
  • Facilitate discussions that help stakeholders align on priorities, requirements, project decisions, and solutions
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, resource challenges, and competing priorities to keep initiatives on track
  • Oversee vendor contributions where third-party support is involved and ensure accountability for project deliverables
  • Develop and execute transition plans to support successful implementation and operational readiness
  • Apply Westland's project management methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices to support consistent delivery
  • Provide timely and effective project reporting tailored to stakeholder needs, including senior leadership updates
  • Contribute to future-state solution planning and implementation activities that support strategic business objectives
  • Support continuous improvement through lessons learned, post-project reviews, and process enhancement opportunities
