About The Position
This role is for a Project Manager Consultant with expertise in cybersecurity. The consultant will be responsible for managing projects, likely within an IT environment, and will need to be familiar with cybersecurity frameworks and standards. The consultant is expected to provide their own equipment, but access to a virtual desktop will be provided.
Requirements
- 3-5 years Project Management Expertise
- 3-5 years Cybersecurity Knowledge
- Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and related standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, FISMA)
- 3-5 years of working in an IT environment
Nice To Haves
- 3+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH ONE OR MORE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA AGENCIES IN A PROJECT MANAGER ROLE FOR INFORMATION SECURITY PROJECTS OR INITIATIVES
- EXPERIENCE WITH SECURITY AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMPLIANCE RELATED TO CDC, HIPAA, AND CJIS
- PMP CERTIFICATION
