About The Position

Wilkinson Electric is looking for a full-time Project Manager who would like to join a well-established family-friendly company to work on large-scale commercial projects in the Northern Utah areas out of our Springville office.

Requirements

3+ years of project management experience in commercial or large residential contracting.
Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and commercial electrical systems.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred but not required).
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Help develop and manage preconstruction budgets and schedules.
Oversee project planning, execution, and closeout.
Coordinate resources to meet project scope, cost, schedule, quality, and client expectations.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders and billings.
Track material and labor costs; ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Analyze cost reports to assess job progress and forecast outcomes.
Monitor unit costs and compare daily site progress against estimates.
Conduct site visits to oversee work and resolve issues.
Collaborate with general contractors, clients, engineers, vendors, and field teams to address schedule, delivery, and payment concerns.
Maintain positive project cash flow and regularly report to senior management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
