About The Position

The Project Management Specialist provides project management support to Transmission Project Management (TPM) project teams. The role supports two to three Project Managers simultaneously, coordinating project activities, tracking deliverables, and managing competing priorities and deadlines. Training is approximately 60 days onsite in Pomona, California. After training, the position is based in Santa Ana or Rialto, California, with a hybrid schedule of two days onsite.

Requirements

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and working with large volumes of data.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills, including formatted templates and professional business communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting multiple managers, projects, or workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Experience with SharePoint and document management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous SAP experience.
• Experience supporting construction, utility, infrastructure, or capital projects.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and/or Power Automate.
• Experience with project scheduling and project management tools.
• Knowledge of project controls, reporting, and process improvement methodologies.
• PM Certification highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and track deliverables for TPM project teams.
• Support two to three Project Managers simultaneously, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, action item logs, and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare customer correspondence, contracts, presentations, and other project-related documentation.
• Support project controls and reporting, including project data analysis and management reporting.
• Maintain SharePoint sites, document repositories, and project records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist with SAP-related project functions, tracking, and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization efforts.
