Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist to join the Fabrication-Emergent Operations team in Everett, WA on First Shift. This role leads projects which include, but are not limited to, capital equipment selection and installation, expense projects and equipment relocations, incoming SOW assessments and implementations, work movements, planning and implementation directives, strategic initiatives, and other special projects. The specialist will collaborate regularly with the BCA Airplane Programs and with the BDS KC-46 Program, presenting project status, risks, and performance to plan to executive leadership to gain required approvals and strategic direction. The role involves leading, developing, coordinating, integrating, analyzing, and maintaining integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs, and change-driven activities in accordance with project management industry best practices. This includes leading studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments, and planning efforts to determine impacts and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives. The specialist will identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning, and refine the business case. They will also develop and establish lead time requirements and facilitate the integration of project/program plans, schedules, change and baseline management, and processes and techniques considered best practice across the industry. The specialist acts as the primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives, and directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion, coordinating commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies.
