About The Position

Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) is seeking a Project Management Specialist Senior to perform a key role supporting a Department of Defense customer. This customer operates under a product-based business model where Government civilian employees lead and manage defense weapon systems programs with combined Government-Industry teams. This approach allows the Government to maintain control of intellectual property and data rights, enabling adaptation to the dynamic needs of the warfighter. On this Task Order, Venturi will provide support for technical and systems engineering, technical and project management, organizational management, administration, acquisition, and budget execution for the defense lifecycle. This work includes services for overarching organizational planning, performance reporting, and best practices to ensure consistently high levels of success. This requirement directly supports projects related to multiple major defense acquisition programs, other acquisition category designations, and/or other defense weapons systems that include, but are not limited to, multiple major defense acquisition programs, other acquisition category designations, and other defense weapons systems with an agile management approach to ensure that solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, a business discipline, or a qualifying substitution.
  • 8+ years of experience required, with at least 3+ years of experience that must have included supporting DoD programs.
  • Additionally, at least 3+ of those years of experience must have demonstrated the ability to work with large and diverse teams and to provide guidance and direction to project management support and team members.
  • Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as lead for the team responsible for performing life cycle project management in the areas of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling on a per-project basis.
  • Interacts with GPLs and Government client organizations to coordinate and complete all project processes from requirements through delivery.
