About The Position

The Project Management Coordinator role is within NRC’s Industry and Innovation Division (IID), supporting the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP), the National Program Office (NPO) and Business and International Innovation (BII). The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting project plans, liaising with teams across IID to gather inputs, preparing reports, and monitoring data quality. The coordinator will also provide recommendations for process improvements and offer administrative and coordination support. Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized College or University and/or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
  • Recent and significant experience in developing, liaising and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and / or external stakeholders.
  • Recent experience in project management coordination to collect information from various sources, define action items, monitor progress, prepare summary reports, and create status reports using tables and graphs to effectively present information.
  • Recent experience applying general project management principles.
  • Recent and significant experience using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams.
  • Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of project management courses would be considered an asset.
  • Experience working with SharePoint would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and support project plans.
  • Liaise with teams across IID to gather inputs.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Monitor data quality to address identified questions or problems assigned to the Planning and Coordination team.
  • Provide recommendations for the continuous improvement of management processes and tools.
  • Offer administrative and coordination support to the team.
