About The Position
Fitzemeyer & Tocci is a full-service MEP/FP engineering and construction management firm with specialized expertise in a diverse range of institution and facility types, including Academic, Healthcare, and Science & Technology. We are currently seeking a Project Management co-op to join our dynamic team based out of our Woburn, MA office. F&T hires co-op students with the intention to introduce them to the MEP/FP consulting industry. Our hope is to provide students with an opportunity to learn about our industry and gain relevant experience. Our Co-Ops will be challenged with a “real world” experience to prepare them for post graduate employment.
Requirements
- Experience in a technical and administrative capacity; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working towards a Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and clients
Nice To Haves
- BIM/CAD course work or experience or related co-op a plus
Responsibilities
- Encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule
- Attends (and helps run) meetings with Owners, Contractors, Engineers; both internally and externally
- Take meeting notes for the team
- Communicates needs, requests and requirements between Owners, Architects and Engineers
- Oversees QA/QC activities for project deliverables
- Participates and assists in field surveys
- Organizes and delivers project documents (drawings, specifications, etc) to Owner, from the project team
- Identifies potential issues in project documents and helps find solutions
- Troubleshoots issues in the field with contractors and engineering team
- Works under the direction of Director of Project Management Office (PMO) and individual PM’s within the PMO
- Participates in business development activities
