About The Position

This is a 10-12 week internship opportunity focused on rail infrastructure project management within Siemens Mobility. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the Project Execution Department of Rail Infrastructure of North America, working with project teams delivering CBTC solutions in the NY subway. Responsibilities include contributing to project execution excellence initiatives such as work package management, schedule management, and contract management. The intern will be trained on existing processes, participate in workshops, conduct interviews, collect improvement ideas, update process descriptions, and provide training to team members. The internship offers strong support from a supervisor and is designed for professional development.

Requirements

  • Current sophomore or junior undergraduates pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited college or university and majoring in a technical area with strong technical or analytical aptitude
  • Availability: 40 hours per week from June to August
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
  • Demonstrated leadership potential
  • Strong analytical, writing, presentation, and critical-thinking skills
  • Industry knowledge and/or interest

Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
